Ordering Policies
Minimum
Order -- No minimum order is required -- however a $10 minimum
is suggested.
Order
Cut-Off Time -- Orders received by 9PM (Central Time) are processed and shipped on the following business day, orders received after 9PM (Central Time) will be processed and shipped within two business days.
Please
Print Your Order -- When you are ready to check-out
of the shopping cart, please print a copy of your order for your records.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with your order number and you
will be e-mailed a copy of your order. If you have any questions about
your order, please reference the order number in your correspondence.

Forms of Payment -- The following forms of payment
are supported by our shopping cart:

Credit Card by Fax (the fax number will be provided by the shopping

Personal or Business Check by Postal Mail (Subject to 10 Day Hold
from date of receipt)

PayPal Payment Services (Immediate Shipment upon receipt of PayPal

Purchase Order (available for schools and businesses - pre-approval

International
Orders -- Must be prepaid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
Discover or bank-to-bank wire transfer (all wire transfer fees must be
paid by buyer).
Shipping

U.P.S. Ground Service unless otherwise specified in the shopping cart

Shipping address cannot be a P.O. Box!
Address
Verification -- Due to an agreement with our sponsoring credit
card companies (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) we can
only process orders that are verifiable using the AVS (Address Verification
System). You must enter the correct billing address for an order to be
accepted by our shopping cart. Additionally, the CCV number (located on
the signature panel of most credit cards, or the front of American Express
cards) is required for further verification. Balloon Ideas strives to
be Fraud Smart -- although our policies are strict, we require these aurthoriztion
processes to protect you, the card holder from internet credit card fraud.
Unfortunately, we can offer no exceptions to this policy at this time.
Merchandise
Selection and Prices are Subject to Change -- the
website is updated daily with new products from the leading manufacturers
of mylar balloons, and merchandise selection changes is updated to reflect
new styles on a regular basis.
Product
Inventory -- the shopping cart does not reflect the current available
on-hand inventory of Balloon Ideas products. Every attempt is made to
keep an adequate on-hand inventory of all items, however from time to
time, shortages may occur. We will gladly make substitutions to your order
(if available), please indicate if you would like for us to make similar-style
substitutions in the "Comments" section when checking out through
the shopping cart. The default option is "No Substitutes"
Holiday
Balloons and Seasonal Items -- May not be available year round
and are not subject to return. Please review our Returns Policy below.
All
Foil and Latex Balloons are Shipped Flat (or Uninflated) -- The
Foil and latex balloons sold via the internet are not inflated with helium
or air. All balloon inflation is the responsibility of the buyer.
Return
Policy -- Balloon Ideas must approve all returns and exchanges
in advance via phone-(800-776-4142) or e-mail-(
) -- 30 day return policy: No returns will be granted beyond 30 days after
purchase. RETURN PROCEEDURE MUST BE FOLLOWED
TO RECEIVE MERCHANDISE CREDIT. A "Returns Authorization"
number will be issued and must be written on the outside of the return/exchange
package or it will be refused. Returns Authorization numbers are only
valid for 14 days, if the returned goods are not received at the Balloon
Ideas warehouse within 14 days, they are subject to refusal and no credit
will be issued. All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee
(this fee does not apply to exchanges for defective merchandise.) Merchandise being exchanged must be received at the Balloon Ideas warehouse before a product substitution/exchange will be made. Non-approved
returns or exchanges will not be accepted. Shipping and Handling Charges
are not refundable.

Policy -- The following information explains our policy regarding
any personal information you may supply to us when visiting www.balloonideas.com:
Balloon Ideas will not share E-mail addresses with anyone outside Balloon
Ideas nor disclose user information to any third party. Balloon Ideas'
goal in collecting personal information online is to provide you with
the most personalized web experience possible. By knowing your preferences,
Balloon Ideas will be able to deliver relevant information that meets
your needs. Our goal is to protect your online information in the same
manner that we would like our information protected. On certain occasions,
we request your E-mail address for purposes of correspondence, confirmation
or cancellation of an online or phone order as well as notification of
internet and other specials. If you wish to add your name to, or remove
your name from one of the E-mail lists, simply write to
and let us know your preferences. Balloon Ideas may use the personal data
you provide online to send you information about new products and services,
new seasonal catalogs or offers that we feel may be of interest to you.
We will never provide your mailing address to any company outside Balloon
Ideas. This is the same standard used for customer information supplied
through phone or mail. Only Balloon Ideas will send you these direct mailings.
